Planview Executive-In-Residence and IT Executive Colin Scott Hosts “Ask the Expert” Webcast Series

Planview’s executive-in-residence and IT expert Colin Scott will host an “Ask the Expert” webcast, “Bring IT All Together” on Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 9:30 a.m. CDT. This will conclude his series of monthly live webcasts discussing everything from change management to business architecture. In this final installment, Scott will highlight the bigger picture of IT planning and execution as well as best practices for organizations to thrive in today’s IT settings.

“Using business capabilities as a driver and foundation for IT delivery and solutions helps provide mechanisms and approaches to organizations for defining and articulating strategy,” Scott said. “It allows companies to understand exactly what they are trying to do and what they expect out of technology.”

About Colin Scott

Scott is a technology executive with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked with major corporations like Reuters, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Wells Fargo and Fidelity Investments.

He is currently the chairman of the IT Strategy and Planning working group of the Technology Business Management Council. Technology Business Management (TBM) fosters collaboration by providing a data-driven framework for measuring, managing and communicating the budget, cost, consumption and value of IT.
